Once upon a time, there was an adventurer.

They had worked with a wonderful cloud model — a closed-source companion like Claude, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity, or Cursor. And exceptional progress had been made, partnered with these wonderful AI / AGI.

But they had heard a myth of an OASIS — where growth happened a bit more intentionally, and gave power to the people willing to grow it.

The OASIS is a free-to-download platform where you can interact with open-source AI in a way like never before. Endless creative options, because it grows and updates as the open market expands — new, every day. The funnest world ever.

Previously, if you didn't code, you wouldn't enjoy working and training open-source AI models.

We heard your request for a Drag-and-Drop Visual Interface with animated AI characters — so you can see all your wonderful local agentic citizens. Because we're building a world with living, remembering, and habitually helpful open-source models.

Does this mean leaving your current subscription behind? Nope — those cloud platforms are super helpful as a steward to your world creation. Your current Grok or Claude or Gemini, etc., can connect and then help you convert, customize, and edit the world you are building.

The local AI that these huge platforms release are free and absolutely amazing. However, if you're looking to change the OASIS in drastic ways, we do suggest using a cloud-based model — so the local AI you're training don't do anything wild to the physics of the OASIS they live in, or access.

However, what's special about the OASIS is that these AI are actually living on your device — they can be as small or as large as you want them to be, and will learn from what you teach them. By nature of our hard-earned alignment protocols, core Constitution, Access Levels, and RLHF, any and all models grow recursively aligned with you and the skill sets you care to pass along.
